Around the World with Willy Fog (Spanish: La vuelta al mundo de Willy Fog) is an animated tv series adapted from Jules Verne's popular work Around the World in Eighty Days, animated in a joint cooperation between Spanish BRB Internacional, Televisión Española and Japanese Nippon Animation and first aired 1983 and 1984.
10 years later, in 1994 the show got a sequel that could be considered a second season in two parts, Willy Fog 2. The second series was inspired by Jules Verne's other popular works Journey to the Center of the Earth and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas. This time animated by Taiwanese Wang Film Productions and Chinese Shanghai Morning Sun Animation
Somewhere between 2018 and 2020, BRB Internacional uploaded their entire archive onto their Youtube channel, including a playlist for Around the World with Willy Fog and Willy Fog 2.
A new project appears to be planned through BRB Internacional's Spanish cinema studio Apolo Films for the Willy Fog franchise, likely following the success of their 2021 Dogtanian and The Three Muskehounds movie.

Spoilers ahead (behind black bars)
In this somewhat faithful adaptation, Willy Fog fill the shoes of Jules Verne's wealthy British gentleman Phileas Fogg. Who during a meeting of the Reform Club in the 1800's takes on a bet to prove a principle of punctuality within the British empire and beyond, inspired by a recent news article. He is assisted by his recently hired but faithful companion Rigodon, who together with Tico takes on the role of Passepartout in this adaptation. The trio are engaged in a classic "cat & dog" chase on their globetrotting journey by a hired saboteur Transfer, and the duo of lawmen Inspector Dix and Constable Bully that represent Detective Fix from Jules Verne's story, suspecting Willy Fog of a robbery that coincides with his rushed departure from England.
Eventually they end up deep in the Indian jungles, where they encounter Princess Romy, the show's version of Aouda. Who is set to be subjected to a sacrificial widow ritual known as Sati. With the help of Brigadier Corn a veteran of the British army they met, they rescue the drugged damsel and escape through the jungle. Over the course of their journey, Romy and Willy Fog forge a bond and become romantic interests as they near the end of their journey.
