Foot focus describes when a character's feet are the focus of an image, but drawn along with other parts (or all) of the character's body. The most common approach to foot focused images has the feet drawn in perspective, and facing the viewer, so they appear large, close, and take up most of the frame.

In addition to drawing the feet in perspective - or as an alternative to perspective - the character's pose, added detail to the feet (such as wrinkles of the soles), and lighting of the feet, can be used to draw focus to the feet. Foot focused images can also involve a character doing something with their feet, interacting with their own feet, or interacting with another's feet. Foot focused images are heavily associated with foot fetishism; they can also be frequently seen in the context of macro content - where the giant character is about to step on the viewer.

Note: for images that only show a character's feet, use foot shot instead
