Dragons in the Warcraft universe possess the ability to shapeshift into different forms, typically those of the mortal races. This form is referred to as one's visage. It is possible to have multiple visages. Onyxia and Deathwing used different forms to manipulate the Kingdom of Stormwind. Some dragonkin, such as the Dracthyr, also have this ability.

Visages often, but not always, have features that allude to their draconic nature such as horns or glowing eyes. Dracthyr visages may be slightly different with scales and unusual pointed ears.

Notable characters with visage forms include Alexstrasza (left) and Ysera (right).
