A bald eagle character serving as the mascot for the National Rifle Association's (NRA) GunSafe program. Eddie is often used to convey firearm safety messages to children and singing songs urging them not to handle guns irresponsibly or without supervision. Eddie has featured in both 2D and 3D animated shorts from the NRA as well as in other media including activity booklets and pamphlets.
