In a last-ditch effort to defeat Link during the game's finale, Ganondorf swallows his Secret Stone, exchanging his mind and memories for greater power as a dragon. This transforms him into the Demon Dragon, a dragon notably larger than all the other dragons in the game, with a pig-like snout. It rises from the depths and into the skies above Hyrule, carrying Link in its jaws. Aided by the Light Dragon and the Master Sword, Link battles the draconified Demon King in the sky, climbing its body and destroying the Secret Stone embedded in its forehead, resulting in its ultimate destruction.
