A Koppaite is an alien humanoid race originating from Planet Koppai, the homeworld of the protagonists of Pikmin 3 (2013) in the Pikmin series (2001–present).

Koppaites have a mostly human morphology and are near identical to Hocotatians both physically and technologically; they have round heads with pointy humanoid ears and are extremely diminutive as they grow less than an inch tall, but may be depicted larger in non-canonical works for clarity (especially for appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series, starting in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U (2014) and onwards). Unlike Hocotatians, Koppaites have pointed noses, often longer hair, and a minute resistance to oxygen as Koppai's atmosphere is oxygenated (but only a third of that of the Pikmin homeworld). The species is only capable of metabolizing a vitamin called Piktamin U and appear to not produce the hunger-appeasing hormone leptin. The species is highly technologically advanced, processing interplanetary travel via spacecraft and associate with Hocotatians in various occupations.

Any character belonging to this race that is not part of the games should be considered as a fan character of the series.
