Fire play is a form of temperature play involving flames.
This is a method that is used primarily for arousing, risky, and/or exciting situations, where one or more partners uses fire to stimulate themselves or another person.

This can be used in masochistic instances where a person likes the feeling of being burnt, or, if the character controlling the flames has magic or special abilities, it can be controlled to provide comforting, safe warmth without pain, either externally or internally.
