Skeledirge (ラウドボーン Laudbon) is a dual-type Fire/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. This time, this Pokémon is classified as the Singer Pokémon.

It evolves from Crocalor starting at level 36 and it is the final form of Fuecoco.

Physical appearance:

Skeledirge is a large, mainly red alligator, with a white back, belly, top of snout, part of the legs and tip of tail. It has several lines all over its body and numerous patterns on its face, such as: four small squares (■) and two red triangles (▼) on its snout, as well as two more triangles around each of its eyes.
This Pokémon also has two yellow triangles on the front of its muzzle, replacing its nostrills.

Its eyes have a slightly furious look, with its eyebrows slightly furrowed. Skeledirge also has two large flames coming out of either side of its mouth, encircling its head before stopping at the back of its neck. A small bird of flames levitates above its nose.

Skeledirge may have been inspired by the harmony that reigns between birds and alligators: the former peck the rest of the food directly onto the alligator's teeth, while the latter do not attack them.

Skeledirge is said to possess a soul-soothing song, and the firebird on its snout is said to be a soul that has taken possession of a fireball. This bird is a soul now soothed by the Pokémon's song, so they live in harmony and collaboration.

Also, the skeleton crocodile's head could be inspired by the make-up worn during the Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a popular holiday in Mexico, the country from which Fuecoco's evolutionary family draws its inspiration!
