The narional flag of the Ireland. It consists of three vertical stripes. A green stripe will be closest to the staff of the flag, followed by a white stripe in the middle, and an orange stripe on the far side. The green and white stripes represent the Catholic majority and Protestant minority respectively, with the white stripe representing a hope for peace and unity between the two.
