In the Skashi's universe: There is a sort of massive fox demon called Warai. Hearing his laughter curses your life, which is a problem because he's constantly laughing. He can create servants called grinions. While they all serve Warai, they all have individual personalities. Smiley Cindy here is probably the nicest of the lot. Grinions can experience a full range of emotions, but their faces are locked in a smile and the only vocalization they can make is laughter.
