A cigar is simply tobacco rolled in tobacco leaves which are used for smoking.

The end of the cigar is called the "foot", it is brought to incandescence, and the other end which is cut off, is called the "head".
Tobacco of cigars is either inhaled or kept in the mouth.

Like many organic plant substances, cigars moisten or dry out as they take moisture from, or return moisture to, the surrounding atmosphere.

For whatever reason they are often associated both with authority and people in suits with questionable business practices.
