Kaiju, which is literally translation from romanized Japanese to "monster", most commonly refers to monsters in entertainment and film. The word is often associated with the related term daikaiju or "giant monster", like Godzilla, King Kong, Rodan, King Gidorah, and so on, but it may be used for any monster.

As such, this tag does not belong under monster in most cases since it would be redundant.
