Power Armor (also known as battlesuit, powersuit, mech suit, or robot suit) is a wearable mobile machine with an on-board power supply and a combination of technologies that allow for limb movement with increased strength, endurance, speed and provide additional features.

And it protects you. I mean, it wouldn't be power armor if it didn't.

Not to be confused

• Mecha - The key difference here is if the operator inside is still wearing the machine (as in their limbs are inside the machine's limbs) as opposed to driving/piloting it (the limbs are entirely robot operated inside).
• Exosuit - Although both serve the same function of enhancing the wearer's performance via mechanical assistance, exosuits have little to no armor plating. Leaving the wearer exposed.
