"Crossgender" refers to an image of a character of one gender depicted as one of the opposite sex (e.g. a male version of a female character or vice versa).
Known in Internet circles as Rule 63, wherein if there is a male or female version of a character, there is a female or male version of them, respectively.
This tag should only be added if an artist deliberately depicts a character as the opposite sex. If a character does not appear as the intended gender under TWYS, use a more accurate gender tag and add the correct lore tag instead. If you're unsure about the artist's intentions, do not add the tag.
Note that this also refers to male or female characters being shown as intersexes. If it's not the character's original gender, then it's a crossgender.
This tag does not apply to the rare genderswaps of species that are normally all-female or all-male, it only applies based on the character's "original" gender.
