While it is a statistical anomaly in which any game featuring the magician Patrick Mahomes fails to impress and entertain, and refreshing witnessing the evolution of Derek Carr as a starter, the real treat in this week's installment of Sunday Night Football was the clinic put on by the opposing tight ends; Kelsey and Waller are arguably the best currently active in the NFL at the position.

(I mean, who doesn't love a big, strong man with good hands?)

@bipface: Also,

...on a related note:

If you've ever wondered why you can lull yourself to sleep with music but you wake up sort of disturbedly to get rid of it anyway, it's because no matter how soft or slow what you are listening to is, your brain is constantly shifting sleep stages when unconscious and as such, the music will always end up off-beat from complementing the wave Hz at some point. Your brain needs a very particular frequency of subconscious 'sound' at different stages of sleep so at some point the music you are listening to will disturb your sleep cycle and you'll wake up feeling bad/disturbed briefly just to get rid of the music because your brain can't handle the external input disrupting the 'sound' it requires for sound subconscious thought during sleep. It can't drown it out with it's own 'music' so you are forced to get rid of it.

@bipface: Dude that has happened to me before!

I'll be sleeping and my brain will create a song out of nowhere and when I wake up I still have it in my head. Sometimes I think "If only I could actually sit down and recreate this so other people could hear it. I can't believe I made a completely original song in my sleep!" but I don't know how to do that.

I think our brains create a melody/song naturally when sleeping more often than we think simply because our brains tend to need a sort of steady rhythm to attune itself to in order to create an optimal environment for sleeping. It usually is in a tempo relatively complimentary to the Hz our brains are producing waves at in order to promote subconscious well-being. I'm not exactly sure why our brains are sometimes consciously active enough during sleep to remember them after waking up though.

ever get a song stuck in your head, but the song only exists in your imagination?

a couple of times i think it actually happened while i was dreaming
though in most cases it's a result of conscious thought

I honestly wish I could say the same, but I have a friend willing to help me get outta this mess and move me back to my real hometown. Glad to hear that a fellow user is doing great, though!

Oh my gosh this is funny as hell. So I got up and did my morning stuff as usual. Since I'm paranoid one of the last things I do before I relax is look out my window. I separated my blinds and peaked out and there was a cop just staring at me from his car.

He pulled the dumbest move and immediately started his engine and speedily drove off. He was looking like "ah shit, I've been made!". Hilarious that he doesn't know how to do his job properly.

Maybe at least try to be stealthy by remaining calm and acting like I WASN'T the one you were staking out or something next time you dumb motherfucker. But don't worry, I'll still know regardless.

Random thing I've just learned: William the Conqueror had a half brother named Odo of Bayeux who faught in William's army. He was a bishop and thus did not have a right to shed blood - so he was forbidden from using a sword.

So he used a club instead since there wasn't a rule about that.

Anyone want to buy a Google pixel 4a? I got it to experiment with as a dev and it's just not for me and I don't own phone service so it's not like I can use it.

Anyway, its clean and new. No scratches or anything, with box and all. And as a bonus I unlocked the bootloader which allows for a normal unrooted boot in slot A and a rooted boot in slot B, both of which are options preloaded by me already.

If interested DM me. Thanks.

Well this was more or less a success.

Note to self though, after flipping a, 8x8 tile with Snowbro's T. M,, it may need tweaking manually.

=^.^=

The person I've been slaving to take care of for the last two weeks or so is finally gone. Hip hip, hooray!

@French_Fried I can get started on that project now. Fucking finally.
