Speaking of, why is there a lot of foxes? I feel like it's almost the default species for furries in general. I have no idea. Even I don't know why I chose a red fox as my fursona.

Couple potential answers and it's probably a mix of a few:
Foxes tend to be characterized as cute and intelligent,
The first online furry generation grew up in a time when Disney's "robin hood" was the only high-quality furry media they had (later appearances like Nick Wilde would also lead to a boom in the furry population), as they made content, younger furries likely got into the space seeing more foxes, dogs, and wolves than anything else and were thus the idea of fox hood was more often suggested to them.
Foxes, wolves, and dogs all tend to be the most common of fursonas. Among these, foxes are the only ones with naturally occurring bright red colorations.
I'm sure there are more reasons but that's what makes sense to me.

Just made a terrible decision and realized fully how terrible it was. My brain kept telling me "no" but I did it anyway. Eh, not the first time it happened, probably not the last. I'm still pissed about it, though.

e6 is one of those sites where you witness something crazy and think you've seen everything and 3 minutes later you find a set titled "non-nazi swastikas"

Apparently the swastika came from India where the Hindus used it as a symbol for good luck, which then spread throughout Asia and the rest of the world, carrying basically the same meaning until some failed artist from Austria decided to ruin it for everyone. By the way, the stigma around the symbol pretty much only exists in the west, as you can find temples in Asia bearing the symbol, and nobody would bat an eye.

Damn, I can't believe Bunnybits was legally forced to stop doing cub art. It's unfortunate, good thing e621 exists. I hate seeing good art be lost to time.

Huh, weird, I said that the hate people have for Bikomation saddened me, and yet for some reason one of the admins (I think) decided to add them to my blacklist. Time to correct that.

I mean. If we're talking about drawn porn... You posted pokephilia, and technically the pokemon featured cannot speak so it cannot consent. I'm not one for either subject. The sneasel is also suspiciously smaller than the human.

I'm talking about actual pedos, like Tay Ferret. I can't stand people like him, and the cherry on top is that the guy is a massive transphobe as well. Truly ironic how he calls trans people "mentally ill" despite him being openly proud of the fact that he's a pedo.

I've personally used passwords generated to such a degree it would be virtually impossible to brute force, unless quantum computing advanced far enough to make it all a moot point.

Never had a account of mine compromised for years since adopting such a ridiculous password generation scheme.

If you want a long, memorable password, just make it the web address of your favorite image/video/etc. It's hard to guess, readily comes with special characters, and if you're forgetful like me, just look up the page again only to find out they have switched domain, changed the path structure and the original content was removed anyway, so why bother?

The SteamDeck comes with bluetooth. If your wireless keyboard is bluetooth compatible then you should not run into many issues.
I would suggest you get something better than a "cheap wireless keyboard". I got a cheap one with a built in track pad and the keyboard just doesn't work well. Waking it up from sleep is annoying at best.
Get something a bit higher quality than bargain bin, and stick with name-brand.

Gotcha will do thankyou

I can't help but notice a surprising number of compromised accounts these last few days. Are these people just using really weak passwords or something?

Getting a steamdeck this weekend anyone else got one just wondering if a cheap wireless keyboard and mouse will work on it?

I watched a really creepy Kirby movie like 10 Years ago, and I can’t find it anywhere anymore. There was some really startling information in that movie. Apparently Kirby might not be awake in any of the games you play (aside from SSB).

Kirby ends up fighting this dude who has darkness powers or something, but it’s not one of the final bosses or anything. The enemy rides on some sort of technology to fly, and ends up sending Kirby into an eternal slumber… or at least that’s how I saw it. Let’s not forget that Kirby’s adventures take place in “Dreamland” for crying out loud!

Game Theory and Matpat would go nuts over this!!

iirc there was a more recent kirby horror series that used these elements

But one thats 10 years old, no i dont think i know
