News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    I feel like this happens when the writer writes one chapter gets lost in it, then goes to sleep. Wakes up the next day and starts writing the next chapter completely not considering on how he ended the last chapter.

    If I had to hazard a guess? It's because of the infamous copypasta. (Hell, the whole comic started out referencing it, the shopkeep brought it up, etc). She's probably not been seen as much more than a fap tool by most, this is probably the first time someone has ever complimented her eyes like that - it's proof that he's not just looking at her, but seeing her.

    That actually would explain why she reacts the way she does here, as well - yes, it's a funny gag, but it's likely the only way she knows to show gratitude. It also helps (in her mind, at least) to demonstrate that she's worth keeping around, which would lead to further compliments. MC is actually paying attention to her beyond the physical... which is sad as hell. Lord knows how many former "trainers" she's partnered with before now.
