Undyne (/ˈʌn.daɪn/, UN-dyne) is a fish-like character from Undertale.

Her usual form is a humanoid with blue body, long bright red ponytail, red and blue ear-fins, and a pair of sharp yellow protruding fangs. She usually wears bright red eye shadow and has an eyepatch on her left eye. Her other eye has a slit pupil and yellow sclera.

In the Deltarune universe, Undyne has both eyes intact and is usually seen wearing her police uniform.

Undyne's species can be difficult to tag. She is most commonly drawn as a marine humanoid, but some artists give her a more shark-like appearance. Use your best judgment when tagging.

Her name is derived from mythological aquatic beings called "Undine" as well as a play on the word "Undying".
