Animal stall

An enclosure housing one or a few animals. Stalls for animals can often be found wherever animals are kept: a horse stable is often a purpose-built and permanent structure. A farmer's barn may be subdivided into animal stalls or pens for cows and other livestock.

Market stall

A typically immobile, temporary structure erected by merchants to display and shelter their merchandise in a street market or other setting. The same type of stall is also used as a display area at fairs and conventions.

Restroom stall

A structure found in a public restroom consisting of surrounding walls around the toilet to provide privacy. The walls usually don't reach all the way down to the floor, leaving a one foot gap.

Shower stall

A dedicated shower area surrounded by walls which uses a door or curtain to contain water spray. Usually found in public facilities, like gyms.
