Athletic wear describes a "genre" of clothing, covering a wide range of garments designed for athletic activities such as jogging, weightlifting, yoga, pilates or other exercise.
Athletic wear is often worn casually, as this clothing is made for comfort and allows for a range of movement, some athletic wear is fairly form fitting, and tends to be flattering in showing off the wearer's body.
