A narrative element, or other symbol that features a drop shadow. The main idea of this tag is that the drop shadow is a part of something that doesn't actually exist within the scene. In the case of picture in picture, the scene most relevant to the element should be used to reason the application of this tag.

For drop shadows associated with scene props and characters, see drop_shadow.

This tag should rarely be tagged alone, and the more specific drop shadow element tag should be used instead. However until implications are in place, both tags need to be added individually.

General guidelines

- The placement of the shadow may not be directly under the element. It is still okay to tag if the drop shadow is placed, or drawn in a strange or inconsistent way.
- It is uncommon, but drop shadows are sometimes colored.
