A hat very similar to the baseball cap, except the top of a baseball cap being round like a bowl, whereas the top of a patrol cap is flat – the hat is cylindrical in shape.

Do not confuse with the military cap, which is much fancier than the patrol cap and can be made of leather even. The patrol cap is much more cheap seeming and always made of cloth.
