Catbat is a character from the Crash Bandicoot video game series, debuting in Crash Team Rumble. They were created by Doctor Neo Cortex as a fusion of a domestic cat and a bat (one male, the other female). Catbat escaped captivity, took on a rock-and-roll aesthetic, and fostered an army of bats to fight Cortex. Due to the nature of their creation, Catbat is nonbinary.
