CMYK is a color model used in color printing, with each letter in its name referring to the four ink plates used: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). As a tag, it describes images that feature this specific color scheme, sometimes with the addition of white.

Oftentimes, an entire image will consist only of these colors (such as with the Cartoon Network palette challenge), but it may also be applied if the colors show up together in other ways, such as a character having CMYK hair.
