Copyright: the last supper
The Last Supper is a High Renaissance painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the late 15th century. It measures 460 cm × 880 cm (180 in × 350 in) and covers an oil canvas. The painting depicts the last supper of bread and wine shared by Jesus Christ and his 12 Disciples the night before his betrayal and death and the forming of the new covenant.
All 12 Disciples and Jesus are seated on one side of the table. From left to right Bartholomew, James, son of Alphaeus, Andrew, Judas Iscariot, Peter, John, Jesus in the middle, Thomas, James the Greater, Phillip, Matthew, Jude Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot.
