When a character demonstrates fantastical powers that are beyond natural capabilities, "superhuman" or "supernatural" abilities.

This tag should be used for otherwise normal anthro, humanoid or human characters that display powers that aren't natural to them — a Charizard, Godzilla or fire elemental creature breathing fire is not a superpower, while an otherwise normal anthro wolf breathing fire is displaying a superpower. This is even more appropriate when the character is in a modern or futuristic setting (powers are less likely to be "magic" than a fantasy setting), and intended to be a superhero or supervillain

Examples of Superpowers

• flying (if the character has no wings) and/or levitation
• telekinesis
• super strength
• super speed
• bulletproof (a feature of general "invulnerability")
• laser eyes (or "eye beams")
• elastic body
• elemental manipulation
• earth manipulation
• electricity manipulation
• fire manipulation
• plant manipulation
• water manipulation

Tagging Notes

• This tag should not be used for most magic users...
• ...however a character that is visibly a superhero or supervillain who uses magic, can fall under this tag when using their powers (e.g. Raven from Teen Titans)
• This tag should not be applied to characters who have abilities inherent to their fictional species
