Toontown Online was an MMORPG created by Disney Online in 2003. Players created characters known as Toons and used weapons referred to as Gags—commonly slapstick comedy items, such as a thrown cream pie—to fight and destroy Cogs, robot businessmen who served as the game’s antagonists. The game was officially shuttered in 2013, but has since been revived through several fan servers, including Toontown Rewritten and Toontown Corporate Clash.
