i wish i could partition my mind so i could have multiple trains of thought. then i could actually multitask or just get a bunch of things done at once.
but at the same time, i recognize that trying to get everything done as quickly as possible takes the fun out of a lot of things. i'm not really enjoying it if it's just another thing to mark off my bucket list.
i guess if there was one thing i could definitively say i want, it would probably be to translate things passively. as long as i've seen a picture, or any other form of media with text to translate, my mind would subconsciously figure it out while i did something else. i'd breeze through image after image, leaving nothing but destruction in my wake (the destruction is a metaphor for skillfully translated furry pornography)

Apparently this is a thing. I was just thinking 'deleting words repeatedly with Ctrl-Delete in Firefox sucks compared to editing in Kakoune, wish I could edit textboxes that way'. Seems you can (but some setup is required).
Makes me less worried about losing text because of browser weirdness. Actually seems super convenient since you can set it up so that the textbox just auto updates every time you save in the editor.

Taking a course in religion is fun, surprisingly. Like, I did not expect it to be entertaining. The professor usually just rambles about stuff and he clearly doesn't understand the slides that are in English. The only problem I have encountered so far is that I can barely fill in one and a half page of resume at the end of class because there is so little to write.
This does seem like a waste of time, but I'm taking it this semester so I can have more time for my thesis later.
Also, he kinda looks like a blend of Gustavo Fring and Father Grigori minus the beard.
