I haven't implemented comment history. It just doesn't seem that important when you can just hide any typos and repost.

Not sure where else to put this but I noticed "Horn" is included with an antlers tag, it's not a big deal but horns and antlers are different things. I tried removing horn but it kept redoing itself :p

My feedback on an admin: I've been having a slight problem with null0010, running around and retagging every shota picture (at least most of them) with female and removing the shota tag. its very annoying, and frankly I think it's trolling.

It was due to an implication bug. Maybe you should do more factchecking before you go around calling our staff trolls.

The site itself is too complex, yes, not the tagging. In fact I've been pushing for MORE complexity with tagging via "tag groups", so that if people want to be guaranteed to find only female foxes and such, they can.

I can't think of any instance where I've said that our tagging is too complex. :|

I wanted to thank the people that makes this site a great site. This is my first "input" into the community, even if I have been lurking around for a while now. I'd be happy to be more of an active member, but I'm afraid I don't know where to begin.

If you want to start helping, a lot of it is taking part in discussions about tagging on the forums, tagging pictures yourself, uploading etc :)

Most peopel start with tagging... the 'tagging projects' forum is a bit stale at the moment, but there's always something around in the forums that needs doing :) just jump on in. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions, need advise, or even just a pointer in the right direction :)

That was in regards to BLACKLISTING, not tagging. :P I was saying "do they handle their blacklist client-side or server-side?", because handling blacklists client-side on e621 has had a lot of problems. But if it's not something feasible with e621, or would be worse than handling it client-side, then that's fine.

1. I don't know how to do something on the site
2. I want a privileged account

Still no reply after more then 24h...

I have a odd problem when I try to uploading now. Before I would have some of the tags I used last upload. Now I am not seeing them. Also even if I put in the tags manually and press the "Related tags" button, all that happens is my page resets to the top and no new tags appear. Nice update with the picture in update page tho

the contact email adress goes to one person who can at points be very busy.. that said, there are a lot of peopel with 'admin' under their names <3 we'd be happy to answer all of your questions.

You earn priv+, you don't get it just by asking for it. Judging from the fact you only registered sixteen days ago, have four tag edits and zero uploads, I am pretty damn sure you don't qualify.

Privileged users gain certain tools that add to the experience of using the site, such as tag subscriptions. Today, the site is free of charge (hopefully it stays that way) for all types of users, so "buying" a privileged account isn't an option. Privileged accounts are on a given-out basis and are invite only. They are given to users who are exceptionally helpfull to the site and staff and contribute in a beneficial way. The account is given almost as an award or a thank you for contributing in an outstanding way.

Also, if you just want to have images in a convenient place because you like them, then use your favorites instead as pools aren't for personal things

In the parameters list, id is repeated twice. Also, isn't jantor level unused?

The jantor level is nonexistent.

The janitor level is not used on e621, but the level is maintained in the Ouroboros codebase in case other sites want to use Ouroboros and have janitors. I'd guess that the janitor+ requirement in the API description is an accurate description of what the code actually looks for.

Usually I throw in my two cents, but this time I am throwing in a twenty. I understand that enhancements and new features are good for GU, but have you considered those who are unfortunate and cannot access a PC regularly? Eversince I joined this site, I have been using my Kindle to navigate it about 90% of the time. In case you didn't know, the cheap $79 Kindles are not very good at interpreting script correctly. I have always have had troubles with new features, but I have always found a work-around before I gave up. This whole thumbnail thing has broken my threshhold. I have tried turning it off in the settings, I have tried usinc classic user pages, heck, I even tried jailbreaking my Kindle and installing a better version of the browser. Nothing works, and all I get are empty boxes with white vertical lines instead of the art I wish to see. I propose adding a "mobile-friendly version" of this site, and I need someone with agministrative priveleges to help me with this!

I don't know how you did it, but the site isn't "noticeably faster". It's incredibly faster. You even managed to fix one of my pet peeves -- the insane delay in clicking on a user profile (even my own) and actually getting it to load (which was sometimes never).

I never really quite understood just how far can a meme post be accepted in e621. Real photos are out and non-furry is discouraged. But what about furry with captions? Just where is the line between furry art and meme/caption, and how far is acceptable in the site?

• The "site rules" only mention "motivational poster memes". But you can have a meme which isn't a motivational poster.
• The "avoid posting" list doesn't mention memes or captions.
• Several "meme" and "caption" tags exist
• Some posts are deleted for having memes or captions

Not angry or anything. Just wanted to suggest making the rule about meme/caption posts a bit more clear to avoid surprises when uploading new posts. =)

They might stay if they're really really clever or funny, but even then, it depends on who gets to them first.

Point is, we settled on the previous placement below the comments and everyone was happy, then it was changed back with no warning or announcement, completely negating everything that was discussed in the ad feedback thread.

I mean that the information on the blacklist should be simplified, and a link to the blacklist + help should be there on the 'My Account' page, as opposed to being in 'Settings'.

What I mean is that it would be nice if the link to the blacklist was displayed there and if the blacklist help was in a collapsible box next to it.
