The tag help being down is also effecting the Upload Page. Since we can't place any tags right now that means we can't upload.

The autocomplete was down briefly, alongside a couple of other things, due to a server-side issue. Everything should be working once again now.

The little menu that lets you disable the blacklist doesn't seem to be working for me. The filters simply stay on.
I'm using Firefox, but strangely only normal tabs have the issue, it works just fine on Incognito tabs.

I cannot replicate this issue.
The blacklist works fine in the latest Firefox version.

If the issue disappears in the Incognito tab, it's possible that one of your extensions or userscripts might be interfering with the site.
You might have some luck figuring out what the problem is by turning those off one by one.

Tried that, didn't change anything for me. I also have the extensions turned on in Incognito tabs.
Might try uninstalling them to be sure.

I'm actually having the same issue, I was hoping there would be a fix in the work. Using the mobile version of google chrome, and despite updating, it will not toggle at all. Nvm fixed it.

Nevermind, clearing cookies and temp files seems to have solved it.
I just forgot to do that.

This isn't happening in a newer browser, however.

Not sure if this is a bug or something on site-side, but the body of text in comments, forums, descriptions and profiles all appear to be zoomed further in. It's not my browser as it is set to default 100% zoom and the enlarged text is only localized to E621. As of 12:42PM September 1st, it just started occurring.

Cinder changed the font size of dtext objects to be 16px you can revert it to how it was previously by putting .styled-dtext { font-size: 1em; } in your custom CSS stylesheet in the user settings.

Firefox 54 for me.

Not sure what happened because the site was working fine yesterday. I have adblock & ublock installed that are the only things that I can think of that might interfere with js, but disabling them didn't change anything.

just on desktop? honestly feel like this change should just be reverted untill a more elegant solution that allows for a user to change the font size more easily and have it apply across the board can be worked out. something like Wikipedia's text size buttons.

I have the most up to date version of Firefox Android i have access to (129.0.2) according to my about screen, only extension that might interfere is Ublock Origin but disabling it doesnt change anything for me either.

You seem to have a wildcard (*) in your blacklist – could you try removing it, and see if the issue persists?

When using the current version of Firefox, videos will not load, citing a lack of a supported format. I am using ublock, but turning it off didn't fix it.

I am unable to replicate this issue.

After doing some digging, I found this was a glitch with firefox, rather than the website. e621 is the only site I use that displays webm files, so I got it backward, apologies for that. For the sake of anyone else encountering the same error who might see this thread, clearing my cache and cookies and downloading a flash emulator fixed it.

I'm not able to get any results using type:mp4 on the front end or the API. Unauthenticated and authenticated. Is this malfunctional or have MP4s been converted to WEBM?

someone should fix the CSS for the parent/child container? currently it has a right margin of -.25rem which causes it to overflow the page slightly (visible on post #2790570). apparently this might not happen on WebKit-based browsers, but I can confirm the issue effects Firefox, both desktop and Android.

Could you take a screenshot of what the issue is?
I don't know why that negative margin is there, but the container isn't overflowing anything for me.

I believe it's to counteract the .25rem of margin the left side of the first div#c-posts div.parent-children div.notice element within. I don't know why those elements have .25rem margins on both sides, rather than just giving the one that's always on the left, .notice.notice-child, a margin-right of .5rem, and then just get rid of the -.25rem from the container.

You have the post image overflowing the page because it's bigger than the page width.
dba_afish had an issue with the parent/child posts container underneath the post.

Posts with multiple sources are exceedingly common, that's an issue with your parser/reader

Question: is it a bug on my end that when I click the "blacklist shortcut" on the menu bar above it highlights "blacklist help" as the first thing instead of the textbox? With the old blacklist I remember the cursor started at the last tag added at the bottom. That way I could just hit enter for a new line, ctrl+v and then click save really quick. Also, the "end" key doesn't work to quickly jump to the end of the blacklist, nor ctrl+down arrow. So in order to add a new tag, I gotta manually click and hold to scroll bar all the way down to finally add a new tag... is this intended behavior or a bug? Makes the process extremely slow compared to before. Yes, I'm aware I could add tags at the start, but I prefer to add new tags at the bottom. (so the order is old to new, not new to old blacklisted tags)

I am going to expand a little on what Donovan said.
The blacklist can only access a very limited set of information provided to it – which is primarily done for performance reasons.
That does not include information on how you voted on that post, but there is also other stuff missing – like tag categories, for example. You can't blacklist arttags:<1 for that reason.

When I try and upload a video the site wont let me and at the bottom the upload screen I get this

What does this mean ??

I have the issue when i try to unblock anything from the blacklist by clicking blacklisted and then the tag, it does not unblock it. Selecting unblock all doesn't work either. Blocks are fine just the unblocks don't work.
Am on mobile if that helps

Attempted to create two new Meta tags, web_badge and 88x31. Upon uploading the image, I got an error saying the tags already existed, and that I would need to manually change the tag category. When I do so, I get the "Tag updated" box across the top of the page, but the tags are still listed under General instead of Meta. I can't tell if there is an issue with the tag editor, if it simply takes a while to update the tags on the frontend, or if I can't edit tags for some reason.

You can use a BUR to change a tag's category to a locked category (invalid, meta, lore^†), but that'll have to be approved by an admin first.

Something about being logged in (while on mobile) causes that to happen, not aware of anything else besides what's been said by others

The shortcut Shift+E (For Posts) is only semi-functional. It allows you to edit the commentary, parent IDs, rating, and edit reason- But it can't edit the tags at all. I still have to go to the regular tag box to edit anything.

In Keyboard Shortcuts, the function specifies "Edit tags in dialog window". It's cool that it can edit everything else, but not being able to do as advertised is unfortunate.

The formatting in the ToS page [https://e621.net/static/terms_of_service] is broken
This is especially noticeable in mobile

It seems that removing the line:

width: 40em;

in:

terms_of_service.scss

fixes it

Media Picker isn't working here. I've checked it on other sites and it works fine. I've checked my permissions and as far as I can tell everything is good. So my conclusion is that it's a site issue.
