aight, I updated it to also overwrite the star fav button.

my garbage laptop died on me when I was working on that so I just stopped at the bigger button earlier. doing precise CSS stuff like this on mobile alone is pretty much impossible.

Heck yeah! Update definitely works, though it does push the sample/fit/original button over to the next line when the score is above 99. Probably fixable by shrinking that button horizontally

Solid body electric basses have been around since the early 1950s.

My instrument knowledge is only just surface level. Even then, I still have have my moments with things like this where I shouldn't be even fazed with some instruments being around given similar things made in the past. Only reason I know about some instruments is thanks to my time in band. Otherwise, I'm sure I would be about as uninformed as the next guy who never even touched or played an instrument.

That is a lot smaller than I expected. I don't know why I was even slightly suprised by an electric bass existing if there's already been electric guitars around for years now.

I play both with a plectrum and with my fingers. It depends on what I'm playing.

So that's what the actual name is. I had to search the name to be sure because I remember seeing another thing a guitar player used that looked like some plastic around the fingertips. Just looked it up, I was thinking of something called finger picks.

Had a few more questions for the bass. Is it the one that needs a stand because of its size or is it the cello I'm thinking of or both? Is it as heavy as it may look on first glance?

One last question about the guitar I didn't think of earlier. Did you ever use one of those picks (I'm not sure if that's what it's actually called or if it's a nickname for it) to avoid injuring your fingers when playing?

Would any of what you play in school be popular songs at the time?

I played a lot of alternative rock. Whether or not it was popular at the time is up for debate.

Is the guitar you play with from back then or a new one?

My current (and only) guitar is a Maton MS500 which was purchased in 2008.

If it's not when would the guitar need repairs or a replacement if the strings get worn down overtime?

Changing strings is pretty easy if you know what you're doing.

Is there a certain model of guitars you had that were more durable?

My Japanese made 1998 Ibanez SC420.

Do you ever need to retune often/occasionaly?

Yes.

Did you ever play/consider playing an electric guitar?

I have owned both acoustic and electric guitars.

Am I throwing too many questions at you all at once?

No.

@Grab-n-Stash: I've been playing guitar since 1997. When I was in high school I did multiple performances in music class and school assembly. I wasn't part of the school band but I was in a few different bands with my friends.

Since we've got a lot of music makers or people interested in music, I got a question for all of you. Have you ever played music in school like strings or brass for band or played an instrument during your time as a student but not directly involved with school? And if you have, is it an instrument you still play or something similar to it?

For me, I only played two instruments during school for band a bit before middle school, a trombone and a trumpet the year after that. I never played in band after that and just went back to the usual schoolwork. I don't know if I was playing too hard or doing something wrong, but after a certain point with playing the instruments, my lips felt irritated. My skills were only around average, and I haven't played anything else since.

Got another question for the people here. Was this side of the site always this interested with music or did it slowly shift overtime? There's usually two other people (not including me) talking about music.

I reinstalled Pop!_OS, because Linux Mint was being uncooperative with my hardware. Honestly, my experience with Pop!_OS was mostly fine. I only wrecked my whole partition because I was being a complete dumbass with the partitioning tool.

Like, idk. Linux Mint is often regarded as the beginner friendly Linux OS, but whatever troubleshooting I tried to fix my Wi-FI and keyboard didn't work. Idk, maybe I'm just way dumber than even the most tech unsavvy noob in 1979. And those step by step tutorials can actually help people 1 IQ level higher than I am.

EDIT: Shit, didn't mean to reply to whoever that was. Sorry!

Put the drive back into old laptop. It's doing the check disk for for errors thing. Good so far.

Also for the new laptop, finally disabled the blasted touch pad.

Put the drive back into old laptop, still boots into Windows(though still no working mouse/kb), so promising. Don't know how I can recover the data yet, though.

Couldn't even use safely eject, so had to shut down.

Does anyone know the difference between a thorax and arthropod abdomen in insect anatomy?

yes, in insects, the thorax is the second or middle segment, it connects the head and the abdomen. The abdomen is the last segment.

I'm keeping thousands of works of some artists most of whose works were posted only on BBS.
They have social media accounts but most of pieces they drawn are not there.
My life will be gone before I give booru sites all of them.

😔

Seriously though, if you feel like you won't be able to tag and upload your collection in time, you should release a less ordered version for someone else to pick up on if possible.

I mean, tag projects are fun to me, I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't enjoy it. if I wasn't doing this while watching YouTube videos in the background I'd probably be doing something just as repetitive and boring, like RuneScape.

but at the same time, yeah, I need to be a bit better at properly managing how much time I put into doing stuff.

The key is to find a balance between the fun and the other stuff,
which looks like you are already on the right track to doing! ◠‿╹)~★

(Never underestimate the power of a good spooky series to listen to in the background~! ◠‿◠)

Your hard but fun work is very much appreciated,
You're doing a great job, Dood! ╹‿╹)
