How about adding the date of creation/upload to every submission.
Or at least year and month.
It would be a project even our children will talk about and a powerful tool for extended analysis of furry fandom developments and trends.
We'd find out what species are posted during which season, how much an artists output changed over the months, etc.
With this information we could plot a lot of future developments, like slowly disappearing artists who "grow up" and stop wasting their time with animal dicks.
By the way, is there a way to distinguish between images by artists and versions that got edited by someone who isn't the artist?

I didn't mean the upload on e621.net, but the original upload date from where we get them images from, like furaffinity. That way we would have properly sorted images automatically.
You could even write a script or something that automatically grabs the original upload/posting date from often used websites like furaffinity, inkbunny or pixiv if the those are the source links.

Looking at your other accounts' tag history, I assume the post Rainbow_Dash was referencing was this one, where it can be seen in the tag history for the post that you removed all the tags from the post for (seemingly) no reason.

You're right Ashura, anthro on feral currently implicates bestiality, which was mentioned in forum #43347 a few months ago

There's currently a discussion of the anthro tag and similar concepts going on in forum #53797 (which could get moved to its own topic, depending on how intense/active the discussion is)

Do not remove bestiality from human-on-feral pokemon images. Changes have been undone. Next time wait for approval on something like this before mass-deleting tags from images.

Probably not, since it depends on the context of the image (whether they're depicted as feral:post #42613, post #175742; or anthro:post #237523, post #272965)

Yes, only ponies/others in the Friendship is Magic Series get the FiM tag. Everything else has to live with only the mlp tag.

Major cleanup required for the ranged_weapon tag. No idea what happened. Somehow got implied to invalid_tag even though nothing has been approved recently involving ranged_weapon.

I'll tackle this (as I can) from the back forward. With a brief look, it may be a bit tough in some instances, so I'll assume "plantigrade" = "not hindpaw"

Of course, this becomes an issue with pads, even on plantigrade-looking feet. Any thoughts for not specified, plantigrade-looking feet with pads? (Not hindpaw? Just what I was thinking!)

I just finished up cleaning up character tags for the main characters of Battletoads. I've changed the character tags as follows:

pimple -> pimple_(battletoads)
rash -> rash_(battletoads)
zitz -> rash_battletoads

If we could use the proper character tags when tagging these guys in the future, that would be great.

Can I propose an additional project? It may not be entirely related to tagging, but may be equally important: Proper and accurate sourcing.

I don't understand why many people are too lazy to link the artist page as the source as opposed to the actual picture's page. Or worse, they link another 'booru site or a 'chan site.
