I'm still salty that X & Y didn't get any sort of additional game. What the fuck happened with Gen 6? Did it just not sell well enough or what?

Huh. So there's a "Hat Ghost" that possesses Mario's hat, it's not a replacement. And it even helps Mario possess other entities. That'll be an interesting mechanic.
And... Was that singing lady at the end Pauline?

Kirby for Nintendo Switch - Official Game Trailer - Nintendo E3 2017]
Whoa, animal friends and clean kirby return... We get four players (three helpers) for the first time since Amazing Mirror. And returning from the old Kirby 64, we even have ability combos!

Yoshi for Nintendo Switch - Official Game Trailer - Nintendo E3 2017]
So they're throwing in the "Paper" mechanics from Sticker Star into the Yoshi's Wooly World. Not really much else to say on that.

Sonic Forces - Official Game Trailer - Nintendo E3 2017

Chaos 0 returns. =^.^=

Had to look up who chaos 0 was. I just knew that guy as "That chaos elemental thing".

Shadow and Metal Sonic I recognize, and I'm assuming the last guy is the new evil, but who's the black thing?

Also, considering the Custom Hero can use weapons, Shadow had better primarily be the antagonist for Custom zones. Two gadget wielders facing off.

Depends. What expansions do you have? The game plays differently for each one.

I can give a few universal tips.

1. Each civilization has a unique AI. If you can figure them out, you can predict what each one does.

2. You know the joke about Ghandi being the good of war? It's not a joke. Do not trust him. Do not befriend him. Do not go near him with anything you don't consider expendable. If he gets further than you, you have already lost.

3. If you want a culture victory, you might want to avoid expanding.

4. You do not generate food toward population while making a settler.

5. Turn on the option that lets you see the resource number.

6. Each population increase is one more resource tile you can harvest. If gold is what you need, there's your chance.

sonic CD metal :) i bet that will be a fun fight. especially if he's looking for another race.

chaos, i'm not too concerned about unless he goes all giant water abomination again as that form is usually pretty tough.

shadow...might prove troublesome but that would depend on how he fights in this game. if he can mix his chaos control powers with the various weapons he'd likely be using then that could be a tough fight.

o_O uh...nintendo? i think you're a little late on this one because...

release dates:

PS4: Jan, 17, 2017
Switch: Jul, 25, 2017
Vita: Jan, 17, 2017

sony beat you to it by at least 5 months now.

and in DQH2 related news...

you can now grind Mini Medals from...pretty much the moment you hit lvl 3 and unlock the first multiplayer map. finishing it (and it changes as you lvl at some points) gets you 2 medals/run which may not seem like much but it can be cleared fast enough so they pile up after a while. plus theres the actual multiplayer which can further speed up the grinding.

i'm currently grinding for a metal king weapon super early in the game and maybe whatever this Dragovian Orb is. pretty sure "Dragovian" was one of the legendary item sets in the DQ franchise so it should be plenty powerful for defense (but is it mightier than the metal king orb? hm? o.O).

edit: in DQH2...

well, they ALMOST escaped DBZ. i noticed earlier that Lazarel's hair goes into super sayain mode when you enter high tension mode.

well, they escaped DBZ about...99.9% i think.

anyone who thinks there's not enough weapon types in Toukiden should come visit Accordia in DQH2.

let's see... so far i've unlocked...

Dual-Wield (2 swords),swords (includes swords like the bastard sword and are used with a shield), Greatswords, Axes, Knuckles, Lances, Abacus (for Torneko Tyloon), Tarot Cards, Fans, Boomerangs, Claws, Bows, Whips, Wands, Staves, and Poles...rods? o_O not sure about this last category as there's already a staff category for magic users but this one is for martial artists.

anyway, that's 16 weapon categories. and i'm only about...halfway now? in the main storyline i mean so i probably still have characters to unlock and maybe more weapon types for them. that's a LOT of weapons.

also, could someone please remind me what the Dragovian equipment was like in dragon quest? i only remember that being the name of one of the franchises legendary equipment sets. maybe the main one for one of the main series games?

also, after doing some digging i found out that not only is the Dragonlord in this game but also Estark and iirc Estark is an enormously powerful final boss from the main series. more so than even the dragonlord iirc. though it might be the other way around in this game, not sure.

edit: O_O; there must be at least 30-50+ monsters on the field right from the start of this battles 1st part. Harban, Dunisian, Ingenian, and Accordian armies all fighting against the 3 beastland kingdoms...

well, i was certainly correct about this game being a World War... a world war that seems to just keep escalating in scale and risk. it's more fun than the first game, that's for sure but these big fights are tough from the start and just keep getting tougher.

in the game Dragovian equipment is most prevalent in, Dragon Quest 8, the equipment is the absolute best equipment you can equip to the Main Character.

Rods are usually called Staffs in the mainline Dragon Quest games, although I feel like the Dragon Quest Heroes localization took some liberties because a lot of people who would play Dragon Quest Heroes would probably get confused on both Wands and Staffs being entirely different weapon classes, as most action RPG's just used staffs as magic weapons.

ok, so i guess that'll be a pretty good reward for having spent 200 mini medals.

well, tbh, i'm not even sure which is which in this game.

the 1st of these 3 weapon categories is wands...i think. the 2nd is clearly staves or canes. but the 3rd...

is the weapon type King Doric uses. would that be a staff or maybe Bo?

ugh, it's hard to find any solid info on this game cause everyone's either going off the japanese version or using dreadful translations.

there's a guide here but i have to question if the guy making said guide even played the first game.

Stone Monuments? *looks through the first region* what? that's no stone monument you dingus! that's a Zoom stone!

Ruby orb? o_O that's not remotely close to accurate. that is the Dragovian orb. *facepalm* this guide is worthy of the cringe thread here for it's bad translations.

so yeah, aside from what i'm seeing in-game as i progress, i don't have all that much to help me.

edit: *checking the DLC for Megadimension Neptunia VII* O_O ho-ly fucking crap!

26 (or was it 27?) free DLC battles for this games colliseum... costume and armor sets out the ass! party members out the ass! weapon sets...how many Fing weapons do we even need?! and 3 lvl cap increases that raise the cap by THREE HUNDRED EACH!

wtf have i found with this game? is this like star ocean gone roid rage or something? geez... the 1st lvl cap increase alone beats star ocean's cap of 255. and i already knew the max HP was over the 9,999 mark. what, is it over the 99,999 mark? this is crazy.

buuut... on the other hand... none of these go past the $1.00 mark so i guess i can't complain too much and i do still have 1.57 in my psn wallet from last time i bought a DLC so... a mountain of free stuff and i guess i'll grab at least 1 "ultimate weapon" set. >.>

a lvl cap of 900+ though in this type of RPG though...just what kind of insane battles did they put in this crazy game?

eh...disgaea is a strategy game or TRPG. this one is a JRPG (that is pretty big on the whole 4th wall breaking and meta stuff. o_O). plus having a lvl cap in the millions (or was it billions?) is pretty much one of the things disgaea is most known for. that and just absurdly high stats in general.

for GTA IV, there's still SparkIV for modding, so GTA IV is still moddable, although with a lesser known tool, and what seems like a lesser updated tool. GTA V, however, there's the GTA V Mod Manager as well as ScriptHookV, although these may be out of date, since Rockstar always updates the game. it's BS though what both Take-Two and Konami is doing, especially since Take-Two just bought the extremely moddable Kerbal Space Program.

In the DS version of Disgaea 1, The caps are Lv 9999 and 16777215 HP (though it appears in-game as "99,999K", or 9,999,999). Combos can get higher than that, since it involves multiple attacks and it displays the total damage from every attack. I can't remember which game it was, but one of them allows you to do so much damage during a combo that the number exceeds the width of the screen.

There was a massive mod in development that would have turned GTA V into GTA IV. People were so hyped for it, but Take Two sent the devs of the mod a cease and desist, too. I can understand it from a copyright standpoint, but it's still bullshit. GTA Online is nothing but micro transactions and high level players harassing low level players. Some of the vehicles in the newest update are ridiculously overpowered. The new Mobile Operations Center and APC come to mind. There was even an alternate multiplayer mod in development at one point, but that was shut down. It's especially sad considering Saints Row IV has Steam Workshop support for mods. Both Just Cause 2 and Just Cause 3 have huge multiplayer mods that the publishers openly supported. Rockstar has openly stated that they love the modding community and the creativity behind it. There's an incredible mod for GTA V called LSPDFR, which allows you to be a police officer. The detail is incredible. It's sad that Take Two has to fuck things up this bad. They also bought Kerbal Space Program, which has an active modding community. I can see that going south fast.

I would actually want some of the technologies these consoles use to PC, much higher frame rates with minimal impact on image quality and with higher frame rates the possible artifacting from movement should be almost invisible.

Also would want more higher frame rate experiences with PS4 Pro instead of downsampling.

The dumbest idea ever, at least for the "necessity" reasoning. The reason the second stick is in the "wrong location" is because the joycon are designed to be used separately, so you can use "one" controller for two players.

And, hell, the joystick locations are exactly the same as on the gamecube's controller. Have they even thought that through? That controller worked just fine, so stop complaining.

there is absolutely no reason why all of these DLCs should each be treated as a separate game like that.

phew, that was tedious but worth it in the end. note to all Megadimension Neptunia players: do not underestimate the value of the challenge stat boosts!

that and the grinding of exp that went with it made the last boss fight of Zero Dimension Z a lot easier than it otherwise would've been.

and with that finished, it's time for Hyper dimension G! :) and after this will be Heart Dimension H and the real final boss (then grinding for all the super tough DLC colosseum (coliseum?) battles.

hmmm...~lvl 23 by the end of zero... i wonder how good the exp in the colosseum fights will be. might be worth it to just sit around and grind the heck out of those.

they did it...with all the meta knowledge and whatnot in this game they actually did it! they drug irl game industry politics into THIS game! apparently this guy is worried about the future of gaming and for all the right reasons.

microtransactions, safe series (don't even want to know as that stinks of SJW badness to my mind >.<), remakes (yeah, like we haven't had enough DBZ already...right, enix?), or general stagnation of the industry.

what a weird person and WHY WERE HIS EYES GLOWING JUST NOW?! wtf did i just see?

oh and apparently the colosseum of this game isn't unlocked until way off in the 3rd saga, Heart dimension. so i still have a long ways to go before reaching that and all that DLC content i downloaded. -_- that's annoying when you consider that Hyper dimension is a lengthy 4 part saga. 1 for each of the 4 nations in that dimension.

plus...now i need to sacrifice most of my money to investing in commerce/industry/public relations to unlock a bunch of stuff. (5k/10k/15k/...how many more lvls to this stuff is there? cause this ain't cheap and grinding for that money is annoying and tedious.)

and while this game is fairly heavy on the anime elements, at least it's not another harem/ecchi like fate/extella was with a bunch of girls brainlessly obsessing over this one guy. >.> that was annoying and kinda creepy after a while plus the dynasty warriors gameplay was repetitive and boring too. :/

edit: ok, forget the multiplayer BS. >.> i'll just try and finish off that game single player. stupid sony...

in other news, just saw this video: Microsoft May Not Deliver With The Xbox One X, But They Aren't The Only Ones...

and all i can really say to this is... video game devs, you seriously need to stop obsessing over fancy graphics. quit obsessing over that shit and start making games that are actually fun to play with a good amount of content. you know, games that are actually worth peoples money that aren't glorified interactive movies.

and now there's all of this 4k hype and whatnot. everything has to be 4k resolution!

HD is good enough. quit aiming for photo-realism in video games. you're supposed to be making VIDEO GAMES not movies.

I'd argue that even that is unnecessary. People focus way too much on graphics nowadays, to the extent that it actually hurts the look of games.

I think the improvement to graphical capabilities is why so many games look so goddang similar now. "Why bother considering the games aesthetic, when you can focus on graphics instead, which is so much easier?" seems to be the common thought.

Blah. Maybe I'm just an old man in this regard. But I still play old games all the time, and the difference between a low-poly n64 game and an HD remaster is still more or less insignificant. If it was a bad game before, it's still bad. If it was a good game, still good. If it was a great game, still great. Does not change anything.

Yeah. I actually have trouble seeing the color on HD, so 4k is going to be a problem. In HD, blue and green just looks grey unless the screen is Standard Def. I'd rather have the option not to have it look like iron and rust.

Exactly. The most important aspect of any game is the gameplay. If it plays like shit then the game's gonna be shit no matter how good it looks. I'd happily take an N64 game that plays like a dream over a WiiU game that plays like shit.

agreed but a more modern controller design would have to be mandatory. well, N64 or late PS2. either would do but PS2 might have less graphical glitch potential.

found it earl...last night while looking through the gamefaqs forums for the game for where to find one of the alchemy ingredients. seems accurate enough but you'll still need to wade through a lot of japanese to find what you're looking for.

never did get that stupid Hunter Mech to drop a silve ore for this one accessory. >.>

oh and that aside, the uber killing machines in this game are terrifying. not only are they stronger but now they're fast enough to leave a trail of after images when dashing around. their arrows are also explosive now and thankfully they no longer flip their shit and go berserk when you hit them with zap/zapple/kazap. on the other hand...now they fall down and set off a wide (BIG) radius explosion when you do that so once you let loose one of those spells you better move fast.

haven't seen any Type-G0's yet. those might be post game this time too and if they were improved like the uber killing machines then i'm not sure i want to go anywhere near them if i can help it. those Type-G0's make uber killing machines look like a pushover.

there's also a new tier of weapon this time around and something of a custom weapon system too. the new tier is uber versions of earlier weapons and they have some impressive attack power if that spreadsheet is correct. the custom weapon involves gathering, ID'ing, and deconstructing weapons that drop in the final multiplayer map (Dragonlord i think) to get fragments which can then be used to reforge them into different weapons. these "custom" weapons seem to come with random stats and effects on them so i guess they could prove quite useful if you get a good setup on one.

:/ this game is longer than the first one i think. so many multi-part battles and it looks like i still have 7 more to go after scaling this tower and facing off against the king of accordia. and after that comes all those multiplayer post-game maps and stuff.

oh and it looks like i someone figured out why i got that free multiplayer. free multiplayer weekend

-_- really? make it free or don't. don't tease and taunt us with it with a periodically occurring free weekend event.

this is the same thing microsoft does with xbox live only it's something called Major Nelson...something i don't remember. they should either make it free or don't cause things like this lead to confusion when not everyone frequents the sony blog or wherever it is that they announce these events.

and you can argue that i should be happy that i got to try it at all but really...no. all this does is show me what i'm missing out on then, a few days later, suddenly take it away without any notification at all. that's just mean but given microsoft does the same thing i can't say i'm that surprised to learn of this.

found it earl...last night while looking through the gamefaqs forums for the game for where to find one of the alchemy ingredients. seems accurate enough but you'll still need to wade through a lot of japanese to find what you're looking for.

never did get that stupid Hunter Mech to drop a silve ore for this one accessory. >.>

oh and that aside, the uber killing machines in this game are terrifying. not only are they stronger but now they're fast enough to leave a trail of after images when dashing around. their arrows are also explosive now and thankfully they no longer flip their shit and go berserk when you hit them with zap/zapple/kazap. on the other hand...now they fall down and set off a wide (BIG) radius explosion when you do that so once you let loose one of those spells you better move fast.

An occassionally temporary free chance is a perfectly legitimate business practice. It's like those sampler stations in stores: You're given a chance to try out a product for free.

Yes, what it does is show off what you're missing out on. Throw in the bait and see if it encourages people to bite the hook, because believe it or not, that bad feeling of missing out does encourage people to actually buy it.

Yes. Team Fortress 2 does the same thing with Halloween maps by also making them available on a full moon.

MAMEUI 0.186... 34.3k games listed... geez. i mean, i know this includes the mountain of clones and other crap but that's a lot for one emulator to cover.

o_O woah... you can now use MAME for console game emulation as well as arcade games. when did this happen? last version i had was 0.168 i think and i don't think that version could do this. MAME just got a whole lot more useful.

well, it does some consoles. predictably, much like with the arcade games, many don't work...yet but there's a good number that do.

hmmm... need to download some other files (bios related probably) but it looks like it covers the Neo Geo console too so you won't need a separate emulator for those games now.

Sounds like someone hasn't heard about the Power Kracker. The greatest game machine in the planet, with 76000-games-in-1 in it. Clearly nothing suspicious about that.

I don't see how anyone could suspect a product that claims to be the greatest game machine in the planet.

DQH2: well, a few more battles and down goes the mighty Dhu...ran... *gets a closer look in the following cutscene* um...well, someone certainly has a nice looking character model. >.> can't say i was expecting to see such a handsome...large demon in this game but i certainly can't complain.

i wonder... ah, here we go. this is the boss Dhuran. too bad screenshots aren't allowed here. i wonder how many upvotes/comments/favorites this guy might get. lol

nokturmus? o_O by the looks of that guy, i might get to fight an even stronger version of dhuran later and i could barely scratch dhuran's hp bar in this fight...at lvl 35-39.

i ain't about to trust any X amount of games-in-1 game device cause they almost always have a collection of crappy games on them. who's to say most of those aren't crappy pirate bootleg games...from china?

wait! actually...yes...yes, now THAT is a good idea. >:) why don't buy one of those and donate it to AVGN? lol surely the nerd could appreciate such an offering.

MdNVII: dammit, this is so stupid!

video games and the rpg genre have been around for 30+ years now and RPG game devs STILL can't make a decent "escape" function. if you don't want player to run from battle then don't put the escape function in the game at all. either make it work or don't. why do we still have an escape function in RPG games that only works when the freaking RNG feels like it?

in this game your REALLY lucky they made the lvl cap DLC because if it wasn't for that and the "ultimate weapon" DLC the difficulty would be VERY high. like, i just finished neptunes portion of Hyperdimension and started Noire's section. at lvl 22 with her default equipment she can just BARELY defend herself. and it's not that i'm underlvled. i'd be grinding for hours on end if i wanted to because, surprise! it takes 7k+ to go from lvl 22 to 23 and the enemys barely give 100+ exp if your not in a party (oh yes, they even did that thing where you encounter bigger/smaller enemy groups based on your party size) or in a hard dungeon for that part of the game. so lvling is a pain in the ass.

hard to get/unlock/craft any decent items.

lvl 4 commerce investment: ta-da! 3 new outfit items unlocked and they don't do ANYTHING...they are useless costume pixels.

lvl 4 industry investment: ta-da! a few items that unlock crafting recipes. the ingredients for which are either enemy drops, items occasionally found from breakables in dungeons, and stuff you buy at the shop. and all of the drops are RNG territory.

public relations just causes an event that gets you an item or scout or something like that.

make no mistake, without any of the DLC this games difficulty would possibly make the first dark souls wonder why it's so hard. barely survived that last boss fight against B-Sha. >.> and yet the fight immediately after that was nothing in comparison.

decent game overall but some of this stuff makes me wonder what the devs were thinking...and wish they put a useful escape function in instead the old RNG BS escape function.

5 attempts in the last fight before it let me actually escape and i almost died.

worst of all, the 4 parts of hyperdimension don't share the same inventory (RPG games still do this?! O_O;) so it's every party for themselves.

edit: ok, that is fucked up. i have around 2k max HP, 3 healing items that heal me for 800, the boss hits for 400+/hit, and i can barely hurt said boss!

w...t...F?! this right here is some SHIT game design. instead making things easier to start out this section since you all on your own, it's no easier than when i finished the previous section. i can't fight and win against this boss? there it no way i can win this fight.

or maybe i can... using...skills. -_- grrr...this is pissing me off.

The Tales games don't rely on an RNG-based escape system. Theirs works on a timer of sorts.

They also haven't really made any RPGs where you can get experience from a battle without killing the enemy. Just once, I'd like to see a system where you get experience based on how well you perform in battles and get those points regardless of whether you win or lose (though obviously you'd get more if you win) and don't require you to kill the enemy in order to defeat them. Strategy RPG games like Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance have a system like this where successful actions (including healing) yield XP but the more traditional RPGs generally don't.

The funny thing is, I actually know of a game series that aren't considered RPGs but do have this sort of system: WWE Day of Reckoning for the GameCube. The single player campaign is played using a wrestler you create yourself and starts fairly weak but as you complete matches, you get XP to upgrade your stats and cash to buy shit from the store. The amount of each gained depends on how well you did: Lots if you play well, hardly any if you play terribly.

shining force does that too. giving exp for anything you do i mean. healing, attacking, any magic...even if your attack misses. and usually you can retreat and replay a battle to grind exp/gold/items too. well, you can in the older games. not sure about the newer ones. i know shining force neo and exa had some battles you couldn't escape but those were mainly storyline and the "species" hive battles.

man, those got HARD with the endgame/postgame stuff. and a bit of advice if you ever try exa: get the light element magic...you won't need it for almost all of the game but when you get to the end it works vastly better than ANYTHING else. ;) also, that final boss is a real wtf case. >.>

hmmm... i forgot the name but there was also a type of dragon best avoided in both of those games too. some massive non-elemental (or was it light?) dragon that had unbelievably high hp and stats in general... oh! Arc Dragons, that's what they were. if you see one of those get ready to die, run, or face a monster mightier than even the games super boss. and pray you survive even 1 hit from its attacks. bows would be the weapon of choice for arc dragons probably as, even with all of the species/type/element/etc. weakness/killer damage bonuses, you'd be doing very little damage relative to their max hp whereas they would be nuking you.

edit: hmmm... not sure but i think i remember seeing some arc dragons in one or both of those games that were so large and had such insane HP that their HP bar would be wider than the screen. that right there is a scary enemy if you can't tell how much effective your attacks are. that is a situation where the only course of action would be to start smashing and not stop until it stops moving.

edit2: good news!

Rockstar Gets Take Two To Back Off GTA V Modders

oh and surprise! it turns out the devs of MdNVII allowed the ps4 media player to function while the game is running. how generous of them. now if only more would do that...things might be better.

I know FF2 does that as does Mabinogi (the points that matter anyway), DartMUD, and Gothic. Gothic has non-lethal as a default both for you and quite a few human npcs. If you don't finish them off, they get up and leave you alone. If they knock you down, they take stuff and taunt you. I mean, the game takes place inside a prison with no way out even for wardens, so someone has to tell the others why that's your ore.

As for DartMUD, most players don't do combat at all, and the ones that do have an IC reason because you can't be OOC. There is a practice command that yields no result but uses less materials (or aura for mages). Most things are non-combat. No classes, so those who do, learn.

What about the other idea where XP amount is affected by how well you perform?

oh man, this is dangerous...

in dragon quest builders, chapter 4. don't wear the cursed armor into the final battle. i'm naked fighting a giant dragon and doing 1/hit (5/crit) each punch! sweet mercy this is dangerous as all heck!

edit: and...i gave up on that fight cause the minions that start appearing in the 2nd phase were too hard. :/

i also found what seems to be an interesting MMO the other night called Therian Saga. looks like it's one of those uncommon MMOs where your character keeps doing stuff when you log out.

and that even applies to combat. apparently the game will have your character keep fighting as best they can and other stuff... i dunno too much about this synchronous stuff but it sounds good.

edit2: geez, that game is naught but timers and sitting around waiting. that's so fun. >.>

Some mobile games do something like that for special bosses that take several attacks (and losses) to defeat. You're supposed to have friends help you defeat them, and most players end up jockeying for score, rewards, or the kill. Your reward per fight, sometimes XP, is derived from your damage. You better believe there's kill-stealing and leeching. I would say "honor in gaming is its own fantasy," but in my experience mobile gamers are usually just all-around poor gamers...

I used to play this shit. The guy talking mentioned Server 35, which I played on. Then I recognized at least one of his friends with a fight up was also on my friends list. Then I noticed the uploader himself was on my friends list... LOL. Don't play this game. P2W, monotonous, bad balancing (number scaling up and down tends to even out => almost everything plays the same), poor support, and if you invest resources poorly in the beginning your account is fucked.

I currently waste time on this. Oh, look! The characters are chibi anthros. The game never caught on and the developer didn't structure it well for monetization, so I'm not expecting any new content or fixes. The developer eventually simplified the levels by at least 500%, however one might quantify that, to lower potential clear times from ~40+ minutes to ~5-10, thereby making it a better mobile game but a worse game overall. It's okay. Some RNG is heavily biased against the player. Not P2W at all. Couldn't find a video example of its Invasion, which speaks to the game's success.

In both games, the group boss fight events are called Invasion. In the former example, you earn non-premium currency based on your contribution that scales down as your player level increases, hence "if you invest resources poorly in the beginning your account is fucked." In the latter example, random enemies will carry some item, which you can see them carrying before the fight, that lets you fight one of two invasion bosses + minions. They have a lot of health, which scales with your level. You earn XP based on your damage contribution, but the RNG for max rarity character drops is so poor that I will never have XP problems due to stockpiles of XP items.

Another mobile game I used to play had tiered damage contribution rewards for raids, which is what that game is all about. That mechanic and those tiers weren't explained anywhere in the game when I played, which is a really poor decision or lack thereof. The process of getting stuff was fun-ish, but the raiding was quite time- and battery-consuming. Extremely P2W. I did oodles of surveys and watched played and ignored a couple hundred ads through Tapjoy for premium currency to buy out some important premium things.

I suppose I felt these games weren't worth actually naming... just follow the links. #RingingEndorsement

finally remembered the name of that one MMO i found a while back.

Kingdom of Loot is back up and running. had it bookmarked so i could try it out when they brought it back up. SNES graphics and it's part of that Square enix collective thing. hello, retro MMO.

uh...on steam. wait...it's not free-to-play? o_O well that's disappointing.

guess i can't try it out after all. -_-

edit: o.O a D&D incremental game being made? interesting

edit2:

sending this mega dimension game back to gamefly tomorrow

ok...back to mega dimension and a fight with K-Sha...

2 attacks... 2 attacks and i'm dead? fuck it! i'm sick of this games shitty design. i am not grinding for lvls when no enemy gives decent exp aside from boss fights. sending this piece of shit back to gamefly tomorrow.

note to all game devs: if you're gonna make an RPG with a focus on grinding lvls. make it so you get freaking decent exp in battle. not any of this shitty 'lvl 27 with 11,255 exp to next lvl. each fight gives ~200-250+.' garbage. that is a shit setup.

PLUS, while there are 2 nude pics (censored of course despite this very clearly being a game aimed at horny teens. >.>) you see in the first section. most of the game is devoted to showing off these girls and their big breasts (oo jiggle physics... yeah...whatever. >.>). yes yes, very nice but i know at least half a dozen websites i can visit for that stuff at the same level of, or better, art quality. (e621 being 1 though it's mainly non-human)

with extremely few weapons which barely even touch your attack power. oh look, i'm at the end of Noire's section of hyper dimension and there is ONE new weapon in the shop.

default weapons attack: 185
new weapon: 200

ಠ_ಠ seriously?!

there's more armor but it's in the same situation with each new piece barely helping at all.

outfits...attachments...what a load of garbage. only for those who like throwing money at pixels to make their characters look different. processors are, again like the weapons & armor but are for your transformed state and on that note...

to transform in battle, you first have to waste time doing normal attacks and skill to fill up the EXE bar...or you start the battle transformed if it's an event battle and the characters do so before the fight.

this game was primarily made for tits, tits, and ONLY tits for horny teenagers to sit around ogling. and yes, they DO have jiggle physics. why else would anyone want to sit around for hours on end to grind exp for ONE lvl?

i'm just glad i didn't pay for this crap.
